Scott comes to the law firm with a strong academic background obtained at the University of Illinois where he received his Bachelor of Arts followed by a Masters Degree in philosophy. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Illinois before commencing as an insurance defense attorney with a major Chicago law firm. Although Scott has experience with multi-million dollar cases and appellate work in many areas of law, he will concentrate his efforts on representing individuals, families and small businesses.

Attorney Normand states that, “Scott brings significant big law firm experience to our firm. While we primarily represent New Hampshire individuals and their families and small businesses, we are frequently called upon to act as local counsel for out of state law firms handling matters in New Hampshire.” Scott is licensed to practice law in the states of New Hampshire, Maine, and Illinois, as well as being licensed by the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

Scott decided to set his roots down here and owns a home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In addition to law, Scott enjoys chess, art and the outdoor activities living in New England offers. He has also taught college courses in writing, philosophy, logic and ethics for community colleges in Maine. We are glad to have him at Normand & Associates.
