Normand & Associates is somewhat unique in that while we are a general practice law firm with a significant emphasis on litigation, our attorneys concentrate in separate, specialized areas.

Diversity among the firm's attorneys is important to our success. Often a specific legal problem may require expertise in several areas. We are able to better serve our clients because the required expertise is readily available within our office.

While the firm is well known for its strong personal injury and family law practice, Normand & Associates continues to be a general practice law firm, offering a wide array of legal services. For example, in addition to handling major personal injury cases, Attorney James Normand handles probate cases, wills and estate planning, business incorporation, zoning, and real estate matters. He also serves as a court-assigned mediator to help parties in court fashion their own solution.

Attorney James Soucy concentrates in state and local regulatory law matters, environmental law, personal injury claims, workers compensation and business transactions. He has handled matters at the District, Superior and Supreme Court levels.

Attorney Scott Wanner concentrates on injury law claims, domestic and family law matters, motor vehicle violations and commercial collection and attachment actions. He is a member of the Illinois, Maine and New Hampshire bars.

Attorney Maureen Higham works in the area of estate planning, real estate transactions and Massachusetts litigation. She has worked as a long term paralegal for the firm and is admitted to the Massachusetts bar, only, where she attended law school.
